The front of the wharf of Taixing Hongqiao Storage Co., Ltd. is arranged near the contour line of -6 to -7m, about 880m away from the Yangtze River levee, the width of the wharf platform is 28m, and each upstream and downstream has an approach bridge connected to the land area. Occupying 444m shoreline, land area of about 250000 ㎡, open storage yard effective use area of 120000 ㎡, and light steel structure storage facilities of about 230000 ㎡ between the storage yard and river embankment. The storage yard and storage facilities are classified into functional areas such as miscellaneous parts, steel equipment, coal and mine construction materials, and can be operated by mobile machinery.
In the Yangtze River levee, the company has built auxiliary facilities such as mobile machinery warehouse, machine repair room, sewage treatment station, substation, fire pump room and emergency pool to meet the productive needs. Taixing Hongqiao Storage Co., Ltd. The main channel in the port area is directly connected with Liuwei Avenue, the main road in the park. The main passage in the port area is 15m wide, and the secondary trunk road is 12m wide; the land roads in the operation area are arranged in a ring shape, which is convenient for collection and transportation.
In July 2019, the Department of Transportation of Jiangsu Province, the Development and Reform Commission of Jiangsu Province, and the Department of Water Resources of Jiangsu Province jointly issued the "Jiangsu Province Yanjiang Sand and Stone Terminal Layout Plan" (Sujiaoji [2019] No. 75), and Taixing Hongqiao Storage Co., Ltd. was included in the "Jiangsu Province Yanjiang Sand and Stone Terminal Layout Plan" and was designated as the only sand and gravel distribution center in Taizhou Port Area. Sand and gravel distribution center project has been filed, environmental protection, safety, water conservancy and other procedures and completed landing. Relying on Taixing Hongqiao Storage Co., Ltd., the distribution center plans to transform the built grocery terminal and storage yard to serve the demand for sand and gravel in the surrounding areas of Taizhou.
In order to strengthen the handling technology and professional level of the sand and gravel distribution center, our company is implementing the reconstruction project of Hongqiao wharf. With an investment of 470.1341 million yuan, the project will make full use of the existing Yangtze River coastline to upgrade one 5000-ton and two 10000-ton general cargo Yangtze River berths at Hongqiao Wharf to one 15000-ton and one 50000-ton bulk cargo berths, in order to adapt to the trend of large-scale ships in the Yangtze River, improve the operation capacity of the wharf, alleviate the need of increasing the throughput of dry bulk cargo wharf in Taixing Port area, and enhance the market competitiveness of the wharf.
